Our congregations serve on the frontline
to address many of Hawaii’s challenges
including hunger, violence, shelter, abuse,
addiction, justice and spiritual needs in
the name of Christ.
HPR also serves as a forum for the
discussion of issues that have broad
impact to the social health of our
congregations and our local larger
communities. HPR focuses on specific
issues where the membership is
prayerfully led to contribute to solutions
to the challenges facing our communities.
The core values of faith, unity, respect,
love, truth and grace guide our actions
and our advocacy.
HPR’s members represent over
200 congregations and well in
excess 175,000 members statewide.
HPR represents a diverse, multi-
denominational group of individuals
serving in Christian leadership positions,
unified with a “pastor’s heart” for all the
people of Hawaii. HPR is bonded by a
statement of faith and its single banner
is God’s love.
